AMS Dutch Augers are hand-forged from high-carbon steel and honed to a fine cutting edge to slice through highly fibrous, heavily rooted soils — making them a favorite for forests, vineyards, and orchards. The open, sharp cutting design also eases removal of hard or wet material.

Available in 2" and 3" diameters across 5/8" threaded, Quick Connect, Signature Series, and Hex Quick Pin connections, plus welded one-piece versions. Compatible with AMS extensions and cross handles of the same connection type.

Applications: heavily rooted and fibrous organic soils, forestry, and horticulture sampling.
