AMS Open-Face Augers penetrate quickly through combination soils — from mud and clay to hard pan — thanks to an aggressive, advanced cutting head that pulls the auger into the ground with little effort. The open-face design makes it easy to read a quick visual soil profile and to extract collected material.

Offered in a 2-1/2" diameter across 5/8" threaded, Quick Connect, Signature Series, and Hex Quick Pin connections, plus a welded one-piece version and a 65 mm option. Compatible with AMS extensions and cross handles of the same connection type.

Applications: hard, compacted, and mixed soils; rapid borehole advancement; and quick visual profiling.
