The ZipTool is the opening accessory for Geotech's ZipLiner direct-push soil sampling liners (sized for both the Geoprobe MacroCore and AMS sampler lines). Instead of cutting the liner open with a utility knife, the tool catches the liner's factory-scored tab and rolls it back along the perforation line to split the sleeve lengthwise — exposing the soil core for logging, photographing, or sub-sampling without a blade.

• Drill Bit — chucks into a standard battery hand drill; the fastest way to open a ZipLiner in the field.
• Manual — a hand-operated version of the same opening mechanism for use without a power drill.
