RKI MC-6400 Modbus Controller
The RKI MC-6400 is a 64-channel wired Modbus controller that communicates with up to 64 RKI detectors over RS-485, consolidating a large wired gas detection network into one waterproof, chemical- and weather-resistant NEMA-4X enclosure. A 160x104 transflective graphical LCD with LED backlighting shows channel status, and four dry-contact relays (4A fuses) drive alarm and control outputs.
Power comes from a 12-35VDC input as standard, with an optional 85-264VAC to 24VDC supply (6.25A/150W) for facilities running mixed AC/DC infrastructure. Rated for -20°F to 158°F operation, the MC-6400 is built for large-scale wired detector networks that need centralized Modbus communication rather than point-by-point wiring back to a control room.
