The Bruker TITAN is a rugged handheld X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analyzer that determines a material's elemental composition in seconds, without destroying the sample. It reads sodium (Na) through uranium (U) and handles solids, powders and liquids, which makes one instrument workable across incoming material checks, finished goods and in-process parts.

The detector is a silicon drift detector with a graphene window — the graphene matters because it passes low-energy X-rays that a thicker window would absorb, which is what gives the TITAN its light-element sensitivity. Bruker's SharpBeam™ tube geometry and an automated small-spot collimator keep readings repeatable on small or irregular features, and a dual view/aiming camera system shows you exactly what the beam is on.

At 1.7 kg (3.7 lb) with the battery in and rated IP64 against dust and splashing, it is built to be carried through plant and field conditions rather than babied between measurements.
