Ion Science Cub PID — Personal VOC & Benzene Monitor, World's Smallest PID
The Ion Science Cub is the smallest and lightest personal photoionization detector available — 111 g (3.91 oz) worn on the lapel or collar, inside the breathing zone rather than clipped to a belt. It gives an early indication of harmful VOCs, including benzene, before concentrations reach a level that matters.
Four builds cover different work. ppm and ppb models with the 10.6 eV lamp handle general VOC detection at whatever sensitivity your program requires; CubTAC with the 10.0 eV lamp targets total aromatic compounds down to ppb; and the 11.7 eV model gives the widest VOC detection range of any personal monitor. A ppm instrument can be upgraded to ppb by software later rather than replaced.
