Franklin Electric Pumptec pump protection devices for single-phase motors, and the SubMonitor pump monitor and starter for 3-phase motors.

Choosing a model

• Pumptec QD (1/3 to 1 HP, 230V): an add-on that installs inside a QD control box. Franklin model 5800070600.
• Pumptec (1/3 to 1.5 HP, 115/230V): works with Franklin 2-wire and 3-wire single-phase motors. It monitors motor load and line voltage and protects against dry well, waterlogged tank, abnormal line voltage, rapid cycling and a bound pump. Franklin model 5800020610.
• Pumptec Plus (1/2 to 5 HP, 230V): Franklin model 5800060100.
• SubMonitor (3-phase, 8 amp, 230/460V): pump monitor and starter, Franklin model SMS3B-3A015S1.

Pumptec does not replace a control box or motor overload protection.

Build your system

1. Start with the pumpend. Choose the Grundfos pumpend for your flow and head.
2. Find a matching motor. Match a Franklin motor to the pumpend's frame and horsepower.
3. Choose your protection. Pick the Pumptec that fits your single-phase motor's horsepower and voltage, or the SubMonitor for a 3-phase motor.
