AMS Flighted Auger Kits let you quickly advance access holes and collect soil cores without a drill rig. The solid-stem 2" Flighted Auger Kits drill access holes up to 9 ft deep and recover samples into liners using a 1½" x 6" soil core sampler; a carbide-tipped lead auger cuts through hard, compacted, or rocky ground, and reverse-augering plus quick connections speed fieldwork. Choose 5/8" threaded or Hex Quick Pin connections, standard or stainless steel, with or without an SDS-Max rotary hammer drill.

The 3" Hollow-Stem Flighted Auger Kits create a cased borehole (1⅛" inner / 3" outer diameter) that minimizes cross-contamination and lets you collect soil, soil-gas, and shallow groundwater samples through the cased hole — AMS gas vapor probes and small-diameter bailers pass through telescopically.
