The internal pump draws the sample through a probe so readings can be taken at a distance from the operator, into a manhole, vault, void or piping run, rather than requiring the instrument itself to sit in the atmosphere being tested. Available calibrated for methane or for isobutane as a general hydrocarbon. A carrying case and screen protector are included, and one configuration ships as a complete kit with a 34 litre 50% LEL methane cylinder, demand flow regulator and tubing so the instrument can be bump tested and calibrated on site from the first day.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eApplications include gas distribution leak surveys, confined space pre-entry testing, landfill and soil gas screening, utility and municipal vault work, and general combustible gas leak investigation where remote sampling is needed.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eReplacement sensors and filters, probes and probe extensions, calibration gas cylinders and regulators, calibration kits, batteries and carrying cases are all stocked.
